Hey, I'm Ahmed!

I developed a love of writing when I was extremely young, and my love of politics and philosophy was developed from my experience on the internet. One of my largest inspirations is Jon Stewart, the comedian and former host of "The Daily Show," because of his sharp satire and irreverent takes on contemporary issues.

 

As the managing editor for The Southwest Shadow, I have a passion for shining light on the structural issues facing working-class and poor Americans. Also, as an editor, I feel I have an important role in helping share stories and pieces that reflect the ideological and cultural diversity of Southwest CTA.
